Renewal of EMT Certification

To apply for recertification in the state of New Hampshire, the candidates need to go through continuing educational hours at each level. Before this, the candidates have to fulfil some pre-requisites. These are as follows:

  • A candidate applying for recertification must be currently working with a rescue center or fire-fighting center or any other healthcare facility.
  • You must have CPR certification at the required level.

    • EMT- Intermediate: At this level, the processing fee is $15. The educational program includes 36 hours of a refresher course and 36 hours of EMS education.
    • EMT- Paramedic: The candidates at this level have to pay $20 as the processing fee. For recertification, applicants have to complete 24 hours of EMS educational program along with 48 hours of a refresher course.
