EMT Training in California

EMT training in California will provide students with the best possible methods to handle various medical emergencies. Eligibility Criteria


These are the general requirements that must be fulfilled to become a basic EMT:

  • Students must be of at least 18 years of age.
  • Students must have passed GED or 10th grade level.
  • Students must possess a valid driving license.
  • Sometimes students also need to pass a score of tests, such as COMPASS, ACCUPLACER or ASSET, which tests their knowledge of English and mathematics.
  • Students also need to maintain their CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) throughout the training.
  • Students should provide a criminal background check.
  •  They are also ought to submit a drug test.
  • Students must provide proof of various vaccinations, like Measles, Mumps, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Rubella, Chickenpox, Hepatitis B and Pertussis.
  • Also, a negative report of Tuberculosis, a Chest X-ray and a flu shot within the last 12 months is also needed.
